Trade

Have your eye on one of the saddles we have to offer, but need to sell your saddle first? We accept trades!

As much as we would love to, we cannot pay retail price for your pre-owned saddle - we still need to be able to make a profit! Trade value is dependent on the saddle’s brand, size, and condition. Most trades are offered 50-70% of the saddle’s lowest used selling price, with the occasional exception contingent on the saddle’s condition. If you are interested in trading your saddle, get in touch with us!

Consignment

Midwest Saddle Company offers one of the lowest consignment rates in the industry. If you have a saddle you'd like to consign, we would love to hear from you!

How Does Consignment Work?

  • You receive 85% of the sale price, we earn 15% (a minimum fee of $50).
  • We work with you to determine an appropriate price for your saddle. We then detail, market, and advertise your saddle for a minimum of three months. Many saddles sell before we even list them online!
  • We utilize multi-channel selling platforms and offer secure shipping worldwide, in addition to local pick-up. We typically have a wait-list of individuals looking to buy a saddle just like yours!

Next Steps:

  • Contact Us: Call, text, or email Midwest Saddle Company. Please include photos and details on your saddle (brand, model, seat size, tree, gullet, etc.). 
  • Complete the Consignment Form: After speaking with Midwest Saddle Company, fill out the Saddle Consignment Agreement to get the ball rolling.
  • Get Paid: Once your saddle sells, you typically receive payment in 10 business days.
